Why Train With Code 7 Tactical?
At Code 7 Tactical, training is built on practical shooting principles and structured to produce real performance.
Concepts are taught, demonstrated, and immediately applied using dry fire and live fire where they make the most sense. Skills are introduced in a logical progression and built over time—not presented as isolated drills.
Everything in the class serves a purpose. No filler, no wasted time.
While the structure is consistent, the delivery is adaptable. Training is adjusted in real time based on what students need, with live feedback guiding the pace and focus of the class.
The approach is grounded in real-world experience and sharpened through active competition, ensuring what’s taught holds up under pressure.
Students leave with both improved performance and a clear structure they can carry into their own training.
Lead Instructor / Owner

Chad began his career in the United States Navy, deploying to Afghanistan and Southeast Asia as a Navy Corpsman attached to a Marine infantry unit. After his military service, he spent nine years with the Los Angeles Police Department, working patrol, specialized assignments, and spending significant time with a South Central Gang Enforcement Unit.
His approach to training is shaped by real-world experience and active competition in practical shooting—giving him a clear understanding of what actually matters - and what holds up under pressure.
That’s what everything here is built on.
Chad’s approach is built around clear instruction, demonstrated performance, and the ability to perform on demand—so students leave not just having seen it, but having done it themselves.
